Bressan Pauline


Born in 1944 in Magog, Québec

Her art education started in 1964 taking Drawing and Pastel lessons with Father Larose at the Saint-Jean Seminary. She subsequently studied with painters Jean Desmarais, Jean Ladouceur and Jacques de Tonnancour.

Starting in 1970, she exhibited numerous times and she participated in many fairs. Hollander York Gallery in Toronto (1988), Symposium de peinture de l’Estrie (1988, 89, 91, 92), Art and Style gallery in Montreal (1987- 1989), Symposium de peinture de Baie-Comeau (1989-1992), Avignon, France (1990), La Sauvaigne gallery, Magog (1991-1992), Galerie d’art de la Baie in Baie Saint-Paul (1991) and many more.

Here work can be found in many private and public collections including the Musée des beaux-arts in Sherbrook. She wone 1st prize (1978) and honorable mention (1979) from the provincial Bank at the Festival des Cantons
