Favreau Marcel
Born in Montreal on August 1921, Marcel Favreau is a recognized Canadian painter, he was introduced to drawing at a young. He was admitted into the Monument National Art School and latter he attended the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Montreal. Favreau owned an art Gallery for more than 30 years, he has taught drawing and painting to hundreds of students, many of whom have attained professional status. His passion was to capture nature and its variations of color, his work reminds us of the late 19th century French masters strongly influenced by the great impressionists of that era. He traveled and painted in many counties around the world. His work was represented by many art galleries and can be found in many public and private collections.
