Claude Le Sauteur‎‎ is a Quebec painter who was born ‎‎in 1926‎‎ in ‎‎Rivière-Pentecôte.

‎He studied at the ‎‎École des beaux-arts de Québec‎‎ from ‎‎1945‎‎ to ‎‎1950‎‎ under the tutelage of ‎‎Jean Paul Lemieux‎‎, ‎‎Jean Dallaire‎‎ and ‎‎Omer Parent.‎1.

‎His painting is in the continuity of his masters, ‎‎Jean Paul Lemieux‎‎ and ‎‎Jean Dallaire‎‎, and it has a universal character. The painter Claude Le Sauteur is one of Quebec's outstanding artists. Rooted in the ‎‎Charlevoix‎‎ region, he has become an imposing figure in this region dedicated to art and heritage.‎ Le Sauteur paints the reconciliation of man and nature.
