Leclerc Jeanne d'Arc

Jeanne D’Arc Leclerc (1920-2016)

Born in 1920 in Grand-Mère in the Saint-Maurice River region. She studied art at l’École des Beaux-Arts de Quebec (1960-65). Her paintings marked by their luminous character received recognition from the beginning. Her artwork was on permanent exhibition in several galleries throughout Quebec and in numerous exhibitions in the United-States and Ontario.  Jeanne D’Arc traveled frequently and painted in the United-States, Spain, Cuba and throughout Canada. She is a founding member of the Institute of Figurative Art.
