Roland Tremblay

Born in Montreal in 1955, Roland Tremblay is a self-taught artist. He is based in Quebec City where he has been living for now over 30 years. Tremblay main painting subjects are landscapes of Quebec, the Cote-de Beaupré and the villages along the shores of the St. Lawrence River. His style can be described as figurative impressionist with strong color contrasts and brightness. He is a highly skilled colorist and draftsman, placing great importance on composition.

Roland Tremblay participated in numerous symposiums, group exhibitions, and solo shows. His work has been featured in Magazin'art, the biennial directory of Canadian artists in galleries for the 2006-2008 edition and His paintings can be found in numerous public and private collections around the world.
